Delia Bradford grew up in Big Sur, California the daughter of parents both making their living as professional artists. Delia would paint outdoors beside her mother. Delia does not sketch before painting. She starts right in with paint on canvas, blocking in the massive shapes first and then adding darks and lights to make the details appear.
